Aura Garcia Sanchez is an actress in Spanish films and television. She has appeared as an actor in Stockholm and the television show El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido began her career in Madrid in the year 1989. Garrido's father Tomas Garrido is a composer and conductor of orchestras, while her mother, Pilar Sanchez is a painter. The first time she took piano lessons was when she was four. Ballet was her first love shortly after. Growing up, she had an English-speaking acquaintance. After finishing her high school studies her, she attended the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico located in Madrid. In the school, she learned interpretation for three years, specialising in textual translation. However, she left at the end of 2010 after she secured the role of Planes para manana. In 2010 she was a part in the film Planes para Manana that earned her a Silver Biznaga as best supporting actor.
