Aspen Ladd started her combat sports career at the age of fourteen. She studied boxing, kickboxing and wrestling before she made her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Ladd had an amazing three-fight winning streak in Ultimate Reno Combat. In the three fights, she defeated her opponent within the first round. Then, she went to WCFC for the second time and defeated Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen was first beaten by Silvia Babyghian prior to going to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 and fought Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen, and beat her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's record as an amateur was damaged. Ladd won her next match with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in 2015after signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the one round with a TKO. Invicta Fighting Championships 16: She won her next bout in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. Aspen used her superior wrestler skills to knock down McGill and ended her via the third round TKO(elbows as well as punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd did not have enough weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. She won with a TKO after the second round. Invicta FC 28 was her final fight for the company. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks defeated by unanimous verdict. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She outclassed Lina with a pound and grind to her before prevailing by TKO during the second round. She repeated her dominance and picked up a more stunning victory in her next bout against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the first round. The winner also got the bonus for performance of evening. Her first fight of note came in her next fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. The two fighters had an intense fight which Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters were awarded an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd in just 16 seconds, breaking her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, was defeated by Randamie. In her place, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight was a unanimous decision.
